(That pun even earned a "boo" from Chris. And yet it's all I could think of, all day.)
Profgrrrl and some of the RevGalBlogPals have been celebrating the US Thanksgiving holiday by encouraging their lurkers to de-lurk and introduce themselves. And, even though we all know that I've had plenty of Thanksgiving already, I thought I might as well celebrate along with them. (Okay, I'm also doing this because the blog-reading's normally pretty boring during Amercian holidays. It's like they don't consider that we Canadian bloggers won't have anything to read all weekend. Choosing family over entertaining me.)
C'mon, everybody who normally reads but doesn't comment, de-lurk! Introduce yourselves!
And a happy Thanksgiving to our American readers. Forgive me for teasing you about eating turkey and spending time with your family in lieu of updating your blogs.

Anyone? Hello?
Yes? Hello? See you?
Hooray for Big C making me not look like the geek at the party!
Appearances are deceiving.
Present.
Yes you can't be the geek at the party since I have already taken that job.
It's going to be our 47th birthday soon. Excited?
I'm delurking! Same German PhD student who is also delurking on Profgrrrl's Blog :-) I really enjoy your Blog, and hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Tina
Welcome, Tina!
And, big c, I initially read that as "your 47th birthday" and I was so going to kick you in the shins the next time I saw you, for adding...21 years to...oh wait you said "our." Who makes me do math in the morning?
You're going to be 21? I think you're the youngest person I know.
I am younger than all those babies that you and I played with in Regina?
As well, the difference between what you claimed as "doing math in the morning" and real Math is about the same difference as knowing the correct spelling of 'a' and knowing the entire OED.
Math snob. It's like you were some prodigy mathematician or something.
And I forgot about playing with babies with you! Although I would contend that your brother was doing more "playing with babies" than you were. Brandy sent me a good picture of your brother with Celeste.
I'm not really a lurker, but thanks for the happy wishes.
Semi-lurker de-lurking here, and another who isn't doing Big Turkey Day in America.
I'm a Canadian lurker. Can't even remember how I found your blog -think I followed the academic blog trail.
I'm a former MA student (Canadian History), but I'm now an Environmental Educator. No longer in the academic world, not sure if I'll go back, but I still enjoy reading about it!
