The inevitable result

Do you know how easily I can get scared?  I talked on the phone with Karl and joked with him about how a robin was trying to send me a message through my windows, and then he joked that the bird might have been trying to lure me outside to where all the other birds were hiding, Hitchcock-style.

And now I'm home alone this evening, and I've managed to scare myself for irrational reasons.

I'm officially a dork.

Maybe the other birds told the robin who your father is.

My mom lives in the northern MN woods. A while back she had the flu and was in bed or on the couch for most of the time. After a while, she noticed some really big ravens looking in the windows at her -- she got pretty freaked out, because she thought they knew she was going to die and they were just waiting for her.

Turns out there was a dead moose in her backyard...

TL: I was thinking the same thing. After Dad's run-in with birds, I think I come by the nervousness honestly.

ipf: Ha!
