Not quite GiST tonight

It's more like the whiny edition, I think. Maybe I'll think of a few happy things.

1. Yes, it is after midnight already. I'll be off to bed in a minute. But I did nap a lot today, and so it's not really affecting me too much.

2. I haven't been up to much today because there's a very distinct possibility that I've managed to get some kidney stones. At first I was thinking that I had an infection, but there's no fever and I have all the symptoms of kidney stones (but no sharp pain yet, only dull pain and swelling on my back). Whee! I talked on the phone tonight with someone from church who "reassured" me that the pain was worse than childbirth. (Janice? You had these and it wasn't that bad, right?) So, if you're looking for me, I'll be wandering the house in pyjama pants, guzzling as much water as I can handle. Whee!

3. Hey! But I did finally see Serenity! It was on TV this evening.

4. And Christopher is the nicest boy around. He spent the day taking care of me, driving to get me stuff, and watching movies with me.

5. Happy Easter, folks.

Not that bad? I don't remember ever saying that. What I remember that grew increasingly worse to the point that I was shaky and feverish with pain. I woke up in the night and I couldn't sleep at all and no amount of pain killers helped. I couldn't even drive myself to the doctor. In addition to antibiotics I had to get prescription strength pain killers as well. I have broken my arm, torn ligaments in my hand but that was definitely the worst pain of my life.

ooo, kidney stones, the fun never stops! i thought mine were appendisitis so i had the added benefit of thinking it was going to burst and i was going to die. pain so bad i couldn't sleep at all and i was throwing up if i ate anything. i fell off the chair in the waiting room at emerg 3 times. everything is fine once you get the painkillers! best not to start in on the easter candy just yet. sending hugs, i hope you feel better soon! at least girls have it easier than guys, we only have the one tube to worry about!
