Prairie people love the sea because we can look straight ahead and see the horizen miles and miles away.
It always relaxes me and makes me feel weirdly at home. When Saryn and I were in Vancouver for several days, just before I moved out here, we spent a while at the ocean, adjusting our eyes to looking far away again.
so. jealous. ok, with that view, you can hang out in your room a bit! i can feel its relaxing qualities from here!

Wow. I'm so jealous. Open spaces make for good sitting, whether it's the ocean out your balcony or a wheat field or grasslands.
