I try to fight it, but I must confess: I love Starbucks. You have no idea how hard that is for me to say. But it's true. Today I went with a friend of mine (she used to work there) and I had a Grande Maple Macchiato with soy; it totally blew away the one that I reviewed at Blenz. And the atmosphere at the particular location was above-par, compared to the other places I've reviewed: easy to have quiet conversation, good music, no loud machines where I can't hear myself think. And they brought around free samples. If it didn't feel so corporate, and if they got free wireless, I would be a goner.
I now fear judgement.

you drink stuff with soy? dude, what's bc done to you?
My dad's gonna laugh. He says everyone from the island is all herbal, nuts and berries, acupuncture, hippy chic. Soy. I scoff in your general direction.
On another note, my word verification is wzham. Say it fast and loud. WZHAM! sweet.
Soy because of my milk allergy. The amount of milk in a latte or macchiato, etc., makes me start feeling sick. So, soy.
I don't judge you for liking Starbucks, Maryanne. It's definitely on my list of things I like but know I shouldn't. There's just something about it - I really like it. Sometimes you just have to go mainstream.
In other news, I have an arch-nemesis.
M.
But did you say WZHAM? That'd show your arch-nemesis a thing or two.
Arch-nemesis, I'll WZHAM you!!!
Lynnie,
You make me smile :)
