Science Experiments in the Laundry Room

Right now, Chris and Matt are working in the laundry room, trying to make pykrete. They acquired a large amount of sawdust from some woodworking guy, they plan on using our deep freeze, and when I last checked, Matt was measuring everything carefully while Chris was logging the whole procedure in a notebook. I'm still not sure what they plan on doing with non-melting ice. But Chris is thrilled because he's been starving for male friendship and science geekiness since we moved out here. With Matt, he has both.

We also climbed Mt. Tolmie today. Good times. Matt took pictures with his new digital camera.

Back to supper preparations.

That is, indeed, very odd.

All boys are twelve. Especially those two. :)

Good for Chris and Matt. What's cooler than being cool ... Pykrete cold.

Of course, there is the chance that Chris could become like Pyke, but I like to think that this would compliment your completely inevitable professorial eccentricities.
