Peforming a Public Service
In case there's anyone who reads my blog and works for the Federal Government, and wants to show her co-workers the baby pictures but their work blocks Facebook but not Flickr and Blogger, you might want to check out this link to the pictures of Andrew. Maryanne, thanks for that picture, he is cute.
I noticed that you mentioned about some workers blocking Facebook. It is a problem where I work as well. The question that I ask though is should people be accessing Flicker or Blogger at work either? Work is work and private personal internet shouldn't really be happening at your employers expense. I am sorry if I sound a little bitter but it is frustrating when some of your fellow workers are either "texting" , on Facebook or MSN while they should be working. It is unfortuante that some people abuse these priveledges (occasional internet usage at work) but because many do not police themselves, I think that all but emergency use of cell phones and computers for personal use at work should not be encouraged at all.
