So many levels of troubling

A sweet old woman from our church gave Chris a couple of polo shirts today. A is a dainty, tiny little woman in a wheelchair, who seems so frail that you're afraid to hug her too hard, lest you break her in half. She wasn't well enough to come to our prayer meeting tonight, but she sent along a package, with the message "Get Chris to try on these t-shirts. If they don't fit him, can you give them to someone else?"

While many others in our church tend to give each other second-hand clothing all the time (usually stuff that is maybe from the 80s, and which several of them wear all of the time), A isn't the sort to do that usually. And then when we opened the bag, both shirts still had store tags on them, and they are nice polo shirts (one burgundy, one blue). And they're exactly Chris's size, which is not a common one.

Chris was trying on the blue polo shirt... (pictured below)

...when we noticed something odd about its collar. This is what it looks like when you flip it up:

Yes, when the collar is flipped up, it says "Player" in stylised writing.

So many troubling questions now.

(We're not going to tell A about that, but just ask her, all casual-like, where she got the shirts.)

(By the way, what is up with Chris's hair in that second picture?)

I love those shirts. I can't think of a better man to wear them. That is awesome.

I'll bet "player" doesn't mean tennis.
