That Book Meme again

I noticed that kristiface and anastasia are doing this one again, and since I'm currently living up to my nickname anyway...

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next four sentences on your blog, along with these instructions (check anastasia's blog and copy the instructions from there, because I was too lazy to copy them).
5. Don't go running and finding something "cool" or "intellectual"! Really the closest book! (I'm paraphrasing).

I'm going to go with the original rules on this one, and just post the fifth sentence, because it's from With One Lousy Free Packet of Seed in The Lynne Truss Treasury:

"Didn't Tim say something about seeing Osborne abducted by a midget in a frock?"

I'm so glad that book was slightly closer than Roland Stromberg's European Intellectual History since 1789.
