Warning: Weather Talk Ahead

This website clearly demonstrates why I still haven't figured out how to dress for the weather here. Do you see that little spectrum below the map? That shows the range of temperatures that are currently being reported in the city. While I pretend that the weather in Victoria only varies by 10 degrees all year, you can also experience all of the possible weather just by driving for a few minutes (closer to the ocean, further up in altitude...). Click on the "All" button, to see the whole region, and then you'll see how crazy it is here.

At least today's map demonstrates that there is no way that I'll need to drag along a sweater, for the first time since I moved here. Even the coldest spot is 17 degrees right now, and I won't be wandering that far away anyway.

I'm still not used to living near the ocean.
