1. Phone restaurant for supper reservations.
2. Wash dishes, so Meg and Karl don't think we live in garbage. Also wipe down bathtub.
3. Avoid urges to nap, and especially to nap in the sun. That could only end in sunburn and discovering that my day disappeared.
4. End up napping in the sun anyway. I feel wonky today. (Did I finally catch Chris's lingering cold? I've been so valiant in the fight thus far.) (Or I'm having an allergic reaction. I woke up with hives today. Reactine is taking care of the hives, but my throat's still sore, and I feel like I'm the walking dead.)
5. Congratulate self for having gotten comps work done yesterday, and so forget to do comps work today.
6. Convince Chris to drive my lazy self to the University, so that I can trade office keys (the office got re-keyed), when he gets home from work. Use the excuse "I feel too sick to sit on the bus and do all that walking."
7. Did I mention that I should take a nap in the sun? Maybe that should get moved to the top of this list.

Vancouver has some of the same troubles. The still, 27 degree weather outside my house this afternoon didn't prepare me for the off-the-ocean headland breezes and 15 degrees up at UBC tonight. Sadly, that means a sweater or a hoodie in the bag, even when there's not a breath of wind or a cloud in the sky.
We have sun too! Isn't it glorious?
You've made me want to nap in the sun (only here it's 90-some degrees F). Too hot.
