Final Stretch

Where I'm at: 7100 words / 29 pages.

It helped that I had previously written an essay on one of the things I addressed, and so I took adapted some elements from that essay. I'm making bread instead of weaving, now. Kneading in a historian here, working in a quote there.

We ended up postponing the tea, again. Not only am I clearly not able to be hosting a tea right now, but the brother of the birthday girls got really sick and they don't know if he'll last the day.

Now, I just have a couple more points to work in, and then I go the University, drop off the essay, and meet an old friend who has an audition somewhere at the university this afternoon. We're going to feed her supper and take her to the ferry this evening. Oh, and I also have to spend some time at the library (if there's time, since it closes early on Fridays) and get the books for Monday's essay. If I can't get them tonight, I'll work on the stuff I have and go to the library first thing tomorrow.

Ready? Set? Goooooooooooo!
