Today is the birthday of four different people that are close to me.
Two of them are siblings (okay, a brother and a sister-in-law). Another is a cousin of mine. Another is a guy I know who Ky once compared to Frodo. (It is also Alex's birthday, right?)
To celebrate all of their birthdays, I will read many books, and hopefully start writing this essay. I also ought to go to the library, but maybe I'll do that tomorrow. I also walked to the lovely cheese shop and bought some Boylan cream soda and German candy that's cola-flavoured sour candy rope licorice. It's like all of my childhood in one candy.

And there are more... more added TODAY infact. Well, you don't know any of them, but Katie Holmes gave birth early this morning to a little girl and so did Brooke Shields. And one of my blogging friends, Becky, from alittlestone.blogspot.com should've had a baby boy this afternoon if all went as (c-section) scheduled. (And in your mind you're thinking... who cares, Dixie -- only you who is so obsessed with babies!)
Yup, Alex is 20.
Dixie, I heard that! That seems insane to me, because of the way in which Tom Cruise publicly criticised Brooke Shields' usage of anti-depressants for her post-partum, last time.
Everybody's birthdays, all on this day. My sister's birthday is in ten days, and the birthdays of about half our church occurred in the past week.
This is why I got not-to-be-left-out presents, as a child. (I now wait to hear my sister's enraged response.)
It's weird, isn't it? So many of my friends and relatives were born in April too, I'd never really given it much thought until I went to buy birthday cards for this month. I needed so many!
Hope the reading/writing is coming along well! :)
My sister sent me a not-to-be-left-out card, which is in Norweigan. How considerate of her, to remember those who don't get presents in April!
What is nine months before April?
July?
Isn't it too hot in July to have sex? I mean, unless you have airconditioning. Otherwise... all babies should be born in August through October. You know, procreate in the winter months when you need to keep warm.
Classic. Jen hinted toward the creepy, and then May-B brought it the rest of the way.
Leave it to me to bring it right out into the open, eh?
I'd just like to point out that I was born in November.
THANK YOU!! Your parents did it right!
