I know a few people out there who would enjoy this resource I just found: http://www.igracemusic.com/hymnbook/home.html. It's an online hymnal, with pdfs of old hymns that I can print off, either with just the words (formatted for overheads), or with music. The problem is that they've redone some of the music, apparently to appeal to a younger generation, but they have all the original words. It's quite handy, because I don't have a good hymn book with a bunch of stuff like "Be Still My Soul" (I was actually searching for that one, when I found this site), and "The Solid Rock."
I am geekily excited right now.
Now I'm going to bed! I swear I am!

Do NOT show this to my uncle Bob.
He would have SO much fun with it!
I love old hymns! But I do hate it when they change the music. That might make me an old fuddy-duddy, but it's just not the same without the orignial tune. :)
I'm exactly the same. I'm just ignoring the changed music and using it as a resource to look up words.
