Academic Martyr Complex?

I'm on page 2! I've started writing! Huzzah! Huzzah! [With the sound of trumpets]

So, I had a realisation, as I was outlining my argument: with many of my essays, I make it sound like I'm presenting an unpopular point of view. I'm doing what has been neglected up until now. I'm reversing exactly what everyone else has done.

But am I really doing that? Or do I just have an academic persecution complex?

I'm not sure if you have a persecution complex, but your marathon writing sessions inspired me to undertake a 5 or 10K of my own this weekend. Thanks for being a last-minute role model for your fellow procrastinators! :)

Wow. I am now an inspiration.

I think that this week has disproven anyone who has recently challeged my Procrastination title.

Beware of that.... I once was lambasted for setting up "straw men" just so I could knock them down with grace and style (and my overwhelming opinions!)

I was told if what you say is solid, insightful and original, you don't have to take shots at the man to prove it!
