Empty Nest

After nearly two straight weeks of houseguests, we're empty-nesters again.

I feel like we should do something like travel the country in a motorhome, or move to Victoria, or something.

Signs that I've lived on "the Island" for too long (already): while talking with my parents, I made reference to something on the "West Coast." They were confused for a moment, and then asked, "Aren't you living on the West Coast?" ("West Coast" = the west coast of the island, the point where you have no more land and the next thing you hit is Asia.)
