I got awesome seats on both my flights. Hooray, self-serve check-in! (However, I got the uneasy feeling that Lynne Truss would think that self-serve check-in was just an excuse for laziness in customer service. I could see her driving by "U-Pick" stawberry farms, as she yelled, "Pick your own bloody strawberries!")
By the way, Chris's flight home will be his first time flying. I've turned so very mother hen about this, because he won't have anyone else there helping him. I've printed off all his itinerary information, and all the rules about holiday luggage, and I'm on the verge of writing down more information on his itinerary...
It's probably for the best that he's flying without me. (But I told him to pick a window seat near a wing, so that he can see all the crazy stuff the wing does.)
