So, it's going on 6:00 AM, and I've been up for an hour and a half. Up, mind you, not just awake. This is very much the result of having a husband who leaves for work before 4:30. I was awake when he was getting ready, and tried to stay awake until he left, so that we could pray together and say goodbye before he left (we do that every day), but then after he left, I just lay awake.
And then the thought occurred to me: if I finally force myself back to sleep (which will probably take an hour, and I'll probably have to read to do that), I'll sleep in, and then I won't get my homework done. But if I just do my homework now, and then go back to sleep, I'm a genius!
Yeah, because my brain was moving fast enough at 4:30 in the morning (having gotten 5 hours of sleep, if that) to translate German. Right. I'm still here, and I'm getting sleepier, and my alarm clock goes off in an hour.
Maybe I can still get this assignment translated...

The real question is whether anything you translate stands up to scrutiny when you examine it by the light of full consciousness.
In other words, crazy things make sense when you are delirious.
However, if you and your prof are generally deluded in your perceptions of reality then no worries.
You're not getting older, you're just getting more like Grandpa [paternal]
