Birthday and Day of Beatles Mourning

By the way, have I ever mentioned that I was born the day Mark David Chapman shot John Lennon? And so I either get blamed for killing music, or I get excited when I read about the twenty-fifth anniversary of Lennon's death, because I'm all like, "It sure is!" (Because it's my birthday. And birthdays are exciting, in theory.)

It also means that I always get the John Lennon-themed toys et al, when we are splitting things up. Lyn's Paul, I'm John, Ky's Ringo, and Amanda/Bronwyn is George. Ky gave me a John Lennon Yellow Submarine action figure for my birthday. Because I killed him by being born.

And Chris made me stay home from prayer meeting, so that I could be better before tomorrow.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPY Birthday.

I also gave you the John Lennon one, because a Huge hand over the word "LOVE" is pointing to his groin. How funny is that? And I don't think they even did it on purpose!

If it had to be you or Lennon, I'm glad it was you. Happy birthday, Chapman's inspiration!

Derek out.

By the way, do you know what it feels like to grow up having clever-feeling journalists refer to the day of your birth as "The Day the Music Died"?
