During the breaks during my day (I started it while I was eating my lunch), I've been watching Oklahoma! I started watching, and was thinking, "Man, this is way cheesier than I remember it being." But then it roped me in. It always does.
Nothing makes me smile more easily than Aunt Eller saying "I'll wear my fascinator!" or tap-dancing cowboys. (I love how everyone starts tap-dancing. Hm, that does look like an interesting new dance! I shall immediately start doing it, too.)
Oh, and in defense of watching Battlestar Galactica: this is compensating for six of the ten hours of Jane Austen that Chris ended up watching last month. And it's not too bad: the acting doesn't hit you over the head with a hammer (Enterprise, I'm looking at you), and it stars Jamie Bamber (Archie Kennedy from Horatio Hornblower!), Bridget's friend Tom from Bridget Jones' Diary, and Callum Keith Rennie. So Ky, you can mock away.
But we can't watch any more of it until my new AC adaptor arrives for my notebook computer (which doubles as our DVD player, when hooked up to the TV). My old one has entirely conked out, and while it's still at 50% battery, I need to save that for emergencies. I've already copied any files that I'll need before next week onto Chris's computer, which is what I'm using right now.

I take back ANY mockery! a. You forced Chris to watch 10 hours of Austen? How cruel!! b. Anything with Jamie Bamber can't be that bad.
I can bring my cord to pinelow if you need it.
The number of crappy crappy shows I have watched for Jamie Bamber...
sigh.
And isn't Bridgit sposabe Bridget?
And I hope that when you said that Oklahoma "roped you in" you intended that pun.
I'm going shopping tomorrow.
