Good morning, Bloggy-people!

I woke up early again today (this time an hour before my alarm clock). I think my body really has decided that 11 hours a night is far too much for any human to sustain for more than a few weeks, and so I'm going to have to get up early, if I keep insisting on going to bed at the same time as Chris (10:30). For the first time in my life, I can honestly say I'm getting too much sleep.

It seems so strange. It's like me saying, "For the first time in my life, I'm on top of all of my projects, and am (in fact) ahead of the game," or "I didn't procrastinate all day."

But this is good, because I have a lot of work to do today. I'm even feeling rather cheerful, and like I can be productive. Maybe I'll study for my German midterm first, because that will make me feel smart. Then I can be brave and tackle the SSHRC Program of Study.

In other news: For the first time in the better part of a year, Meg's been updating her blog this month! Huzzah! Huzzah! I just wanted to point you toward some of the cleverness, especially the Lego people she and Karl made of each other. It makes me miss them plenty, especially because they're wearing a tiara and a Santa hat, respectively, and Karl's unshaven and standing in the Fires of Perdition. Very much classic. (It's also creepy how very much the Lego people actually resemble them, although the height difference between the two of them is lost in the rendering.)

Other blogs to look out for: The blog belonging to my distant cousin Dixie (who went to University with me, also in History), and especially her and her husband Marc's adventures speaking with a Spatalian accent. It's like Amandolyn and Ky funny.

Now I'm going to go and watch the sun rise, out my front door. It's a great day for up.

I read the Spatalian accent post, and laughed my butt off. Man, I wish I'd known them better when we were in university.
