Tonight's menu:
- Herb-roasted chicken;
- Roasted potatoes (also smothered in herbs, and cooked in the toaster oven, because the oven's taken up with chicken);
- Some undetermined vegetable (it would be nice to figure out a sauce).
The chicken's already in the oven, and now my hands and the house smell lovely. (I did a herb rub.) I'm glad that the chicken came pre-arranged, because tying the legs and everything is my least favourite part.

It turned out perfectly! Wow! We now have a roasting rack, and so that made a big difference from when I used to do roast chicken for Meg. I'm very pleased that I impressed Chris with that meal. (He is by far the more creative cook.)
Holy crap Maryanne. I feel that your culinary skills (and bow-hunting skills, and computer hacking skills) put me to shame. I will never ever find a husband.
My num-chuck stills are also amazing.
