So. It's Labour Day today. Is it still a holiday for me, if I haven't done anything on any other day? Are the slothful allowed to partake? Or, perhaps, should I do extra work, in anticipation of the beginning of school this week?
It's a hard call. I might be more likely to do real work because my partner in procrastination is re-formatting his hard drive today. Or maybe this is my opportunity to watch a really girly movie, in his absence.
What do you think? (I can already anticipate the "Get to work!" comment from my parents.)
Update at noon: I think I've found a compromise; I have the TV set up so I can watch Pride and Prejudice (a seasonal tradition, established my Meg) while I clean the kitchen and living room, make an elaborate supper as a reward for Chris (who is working hard at re-formatting) and in general make myself feel a little more human before the semester starts.

I, of course, as your good and faithful former roommate, recommend the girly movie. I rented three girly movies while Karl was away and watched them in two days. I haven't felt that giddy in a long time.

Meggie's home!
You know, I am feeling drawn toward Pride and Prejudice lately. It must be the changing seasons and school starting.
to follow up - i am sure it was the same giant spider. when i asked him if i had seen him in the bathroom three weeks prior, he said yes.
and an interesting fact that you can't see in my picture of the giant ottawa spider: her name is maman, and she holds her pure white marble eggs in her egg sack (which is kinda hard to see).
pride and prejudice hey? i just watched that two days ago with jen... first time. wow... quite the ordeal. good movie tho... hope you enjoyed it for the "n"th time.
Hey remember our awesome Pride and Prejudice party when we got "Happy Panda" chinese food? I don't actually remember if we got "Happy Panda" or not, but its fun to say. Ah. I miss you now. And Ky and I missed you SOOOOOOO much at PV. But you will be delighted to know that your directions were excellent and that Uncle Murray drew me a map too, so there was no way I could miss it. Many stories to tell you. I'll try and blog about it later. But I'm at work now.
Oh, Happy Panda. Not a real restaurant in Regina. I think they have one in Branson, and so that's why Andru kept asking for it. That was an awesome day. Remember our leaf fight during the seventh-inning stretch? Good times.
