I am wearing: a "Wait Til You See Me Dance" t-shirt (shower present), black shpants (capris), pink ballet slippers and a zebu stamp on the back of my hand (evidence of yesterday's foray into the petting zoo at Beacon Hill Park -- I love the baby goats).
Food most lately consumed: Chris's experiment in making Cactus Cut Potatoes. We're getting closer.
Background music: "La Vie en Rose," Edith Piaf. Previously: "The Lines You Amend," Sloan. That made me miss my brother, because it's what my dad calls "the tapping song," whenever Michael plays it.
Evening's activities: perusing the IVCF Flickr page. I just watched a slideshow of last year's medieval night. I also got an e-mail from this year's Regina IV president, telling me how planning's going for the fall. And reading Janice's very sad comment to the previous post.
On my mind tonight: home, and how life continues there without me.

I didn't mean to make you sad. I'm sad and missing my sister. I know it is good that you are going to school in Victoria. It does not stop me from being sad about how little I will get to see you now.
I'm not that bright. While reading the second last paragraph of this entry, I say to myself "What's a Regina 4 President? OOOOOOH! Those aren't roman numerals. Got it."
I'm not really sad, sister Janny. Don't worry. I was already melancholy yesterday evening. But now I'm happy.
