Confused Pizza

Chris and I came up with a pizza combination that blows my mind. Before it was finished cooking, I called it "Experimental Pizza," because I suspected this was either going to be awesome, or the worst idea ever. Now I call it "Confused Pizza," but secretly call it "Tropical Ukrainian," because it combines the elements of a tropical chicken pizza with ... a perogie.

The Elements:
  • Ranch dressing as sauce;
  • Grilled chicken, seasoned with lemon pepper. (We're on a lemon pepper kick, and everything goes in the Hamilton Beach grill);
  • Leftover ham;
  • Chopped onions;
  • Yellow peppers;
  • Tomato;
  • Lemon pepper and Italian seasoning;
  • Cottage cheese;
  • Top it all with with cheddar cheese.

I can't even begin to describe the awesomeness. We gave some to Saryn, when she came over to get last-minute Organic Chemistry help from Chris, and we've promised to take some for her lunch break in the middle of her MCAT tomorrow! Confused pizza should help.

How is that tropical? Was the leftover ham from the equator or something?

It started off as grilled chicken with yellow peppers, chopped up tomatoes and onions, and it looked very much like a tropical chicken pizza. The ham was there because there was some in the fridge.

Then I guess I am still lost on the ingredients to a tropical chicken pizza. Are Yellow Peppers particularly tropical? Or is it the chicken itself that has the tropic quality?

Nonetheless, it sounds delicious, and I want some.
