Yes, 'tis pity, 'tis true. I took the MIT Weblog Survey. And it made me wonder, while I was taking the survey: am I an oddity? (Other than in the obvious ways.) I have no friends that I met online, and I can't remember the last time I had a conversation over Instant Messenger. The last time I even signed on to my IM account was to receive some files from a friend, with whom I was on the phone at the time. Okay, so I get scolded for avoiding Messenger, by my friends who communicate almost solely over IM and for whom phoning is too time-intensive and expensive. (Apparently I have to sign on to MSN on a regular basis after I move to Victoria.) But I find IM conversations to be stressful. I really can't carry on more than one conversation at once, and then suddenly there are all these people online, some of whom I'm either a bit shy or I'm avoiding.
So I'm an old lady.
On another subject entirely, I just attended my last church service in Regina before I move to Victoria. I didn't even realise it until after church was over, but for the next two Sundays we'll be at Camp, followed by the weekend of the wedding, followed by a Sunday where we're in Rosetown (we'll have been in Eatonia during that previous week) and then the next weekend is when we're moving to Victoria! The end of a 24 1/2 year era.

Wow. I feel like a piece of me is missing. You will never return to Regina church as a single person who lives there. I could cry.
