The allergy hypocrisy continues...

Tonight I bought a carton of Soy milk, a carton of Parlour ice cream, and two boxes of Valentine's Day chocolates. The cashier at Shopper's thought it was pretty funny. (I also bought rice chips.) I'm pretty sure I'm not mentioning this to my allergist. (Stupid "no milk" rule. I'm pretty sure I'm not that allergic to it, but he won't give me shots for it, because he thinks drinking cow's milk isn't natural. I'm allergic to soy, but I'm getting shots for it, and so I'm actually going to have increase my intake of it slightly now.)

That is my rant. On the up side, I handed in Chapter One tonight.
Page count: 39.
Word count: closing in on 10 000.
Due date for completed first draft: mid-March! I have one more month than I thought I had, and the hardest chapter is now over. Yay!

I'm wearing: pyjamas, because it's late.
Best part of my evening: either when Christopher and Derek stopped by, as they got into town, or when Meg and I played Canadian Trivial Pursuit, as celebration for finishing Chapter One. I've had a good day.
