Today, I wore a brooch in public for the first time in my adult life. I think I'm going to become That Person Who Wears A Brooch That Is Her First Initial. Watch for it.
Also, I'm sitting in the cafeteria of my alma mater right now, and am having some serious flashbacks to the person I was twelve years ago. (That person: not someone who would wear a brooch of her first initial in public.)

I have never worn a brooch in the whole course of my life but I personally would love it if I saw someone wearing a brooch I took to be her first initial. Because that rules.
The strange thing is that I got this brooch from my grandma when I was very small. First time I've ever gone through stuff from my childhood and said "I could wear that."
