Today is my Christopher's first day of school! I woke up early to see him off, not really because I could do much to help him get out the door on time,* but more because this seemed momentous, and I wanted to be there to witness the occasion.
He's now out the door, wearing a nice shirt and his navy pants, and carrying my old laptop and our digital camera (to take a picture of his classroom before the kids arrive). All I can do is pray that he has a good day and drives safely.
* As it was, he was out the door by 7:00AM.
