Until today, I'd never seen The Sandlot before. Even though most of my friends had seen it about eighty thousand kabillion times. I'm watching it right now, even though I'm totally the type who gets far too worried when people are in trouble and want to hide or make it go away. (See: my childhood watchings of Curious George, where I would run away and hide whenever he was in trouble.)
Further confession: in spite of the fact that my best friends have watched it on roughly a daily basis, I also have never seen White Christmas. Holiday Inn, yes; White Christmas, no.

I used to run and hide when Ernie counted balloons to fall asleep. They'd pop as he counted them. I hated popping balloons. Still do.
I would totally be afraid of that too! I hate when things make loud noises suddenly.
I know what you mean, though I'm more sensitive to fictional characters being embarrassed or humiliated. I used to run away during the part in The Little Mermaid where she combs her hair with the fork, because I was so painfully embarrassed on her behalf.
Also, I can't believe you never saw The Sandlot before! Even I've seen it once! Ha!
This Christmas, I promise you, I won't watch White Christmas without you. It'll be hard, but I think I can make it.
PS. My friend Regan left a silver and white Christmas snow globe on my desk today. It was a Christmas Miracle!
Never seen Sandlot? You're killing me Smalls!
Roger, that was Chris's response exactly.
I've never seen Sandlot either. Don't even know what its about. Is it a kids movie?
Have seen White Christmas. And other Danny Kaye movies thanks to Mamma Cass and Scarlet O'Hairy Dame.
