And the 45,000th visitor* was...

...someone visiting from the Government of Canada in Ottawa, who is still using Windows 2000 and IE6! And just after I posted about StatsCan!

Weird.

Update: Or, apparently, it looks like it was one of my friends who works for the feds! Congratulations, either Meggy or Julia!

*Since I started using Sitemeter in April 2005, and ignoring the few days after I switched over to Blogger Beta and didn't notice that I hadn't reinstalled Sitemeter.

Oh no! I hope it's not the people who monitor what sites we're visiting during working hours! They might block my access!!! Then what would I do on my breaks???

Fortunately, my blog is one of the least likely ones to get blocked. Didn't you know I'm rated G?

(You know, it might have been you or Meg. There's a chance that all GC IP addresses show up as being from Ottawa.)

Actually, Julia, I think it was either you or Meg. The stat from when you visited and commented shows up as coming from Ottawa.

Then it was totally me... I came to your site and then let it sit for a while before actually reading and commenting!

You don't have to have the sitemeter link on your page for it to monitor traffic. As long as the address stays the same, it will keep track.

How on earth do you know what your blog is rated???? I might be in big trouble.

Anastasia linked to a website that purported to rate one's blog according to movie ratings. I typed in your URL and they rate you at PG!

I'm rated G. Of course, much like Shakespeare my bawdy humour is not easily understood in modern times.

I'm surprised I managed PG. I was worried that Ky wouldn't be allowed to come to my site anymore.
