Is comps reading always this tiring and emotional? Or has every stage of my grad student career been this tiring and emotion, once I'm actually working, and do I just have a really bad memory and very little self-awareness?
I'm just wondering. And sleepy. And caffeine-addicted. And tired of reading. (Okay, so I read four books today. That could be why.)

It's all tiring and emotional... but comps are especially tiring and emotional.
comps suck in their own special way. it's not your imagination.
