The doctor didn't end up doing an official swallow test with him (praise the Lord for any occasion in which you dodge having to swallow barium), but decided that, since Dad's been eating Jell-o all week, he might as well have some real food to give him some strength. I can't even begin to explain how excited my Dad is about this. He's been aching to stop with the tube feeding and eat real food.
Today was a good day. (Every step back to normalcy is a cause for celebration around here.)
