Survival Guide

Yesterday, I didn't get out to use the SAD lamp and sat around the house moping for most of the day. I did get a bunch done at the end of the day, but it wasn't healthy. Today, I woke up and saw that it was cloudy again, and sprang into action before the darkness could start getting to me. (Especially because I knew that tomorrow is my next possible SAD lamp day.)

I was extra-nice to myself today, to cheer me up. Here are how I spent my breaks:
1. Eating all the left-over garlic mashed potatoes with chives.
2. Walking to the cheese shop, and picking up some paillot de chèvre, a bottle of Boylan Root Beer, and some Dutch biscuits with coffee icing.
3. Yoga. All of the yoga I could remember from the last time I took a class.
4. Sitting in the sun for that short time the sun came out, while drinking a lot of water.

And you know? I finished that essay. Well, there are a couple of little parts to take care of, and there's the bibliography. But other than that, it's done. And it wasn't difficult to do, especially when I worked in the sun. This evening, I'll get some reading done while bouncing on the exercise ball.
