I love Cat Stevens. Have I mentioned that before? Because I really do love his music.
This morning's reading marathon was particularly sweet, because I played both Teaser and the Firecat and Tea for the Tillerman in the background while I worked.
That's all I had to say for now. I just wanted to share my Cat Stevens love with the world. (But I must emphasise: I mostly just love his music. As a child, I was horribly scared of pictures of him, especially because we had the sheet music for "Morning Has Broken," on which cover Stevens reposed shirtlessly in all his hairy, hobo-like glory. I was constantly turning around the sheet music, so that Cat Stevens wouldn't look at me.) (Now I did an intensive Google Images search and can't find the particular picture.) (Awesome side note: my record of Teaser and the Firecat was signed by Cat Stevens.) (How annoying am I with the parenthetical asides?) (Plenty, I'm sure.)
Can you tell that I drank an entire pot of caffeinated tea this morning? An entire pot. All by myself. My poor prof, when I have a meeting with him this afternoon. I hope my head stops buzzing by then.
