Champion
For the first time ever, I won in Settlers of Catan. Against Chris and Janice, who understand odds and strategy and stuff. This is thrilling to me. I don't often win games. (I also won in Personal Preferences last night, but that's because I had the advantage, seeing as I was playing against my husband and my sister. Of course I know them well.)

I love Settlers of Catan, what a great game! Sometimes I try to get folks interested in playing, but I haven't had any luck in a long time.
Yay Maryanne! That's exciting! Next time we're in the same place, we'll have to play that game.
Matt, it's a deal! And Breena, my husband had the exact same problem for a long time (because I didn't understand how to play very well, and so I'd always lose badly). Now I like playing.
I just can not get interested in Settlers. I think it will be like Scrabble. Just one of those games I will never be interested in playing. Until someone invents "Minute Settlers" that is.
Also, Personal Preferences? Awesome, awesome game.
Lynnie, I couldn't really get into Settlers until I played it with Geoffy. Any game that gets Geoffy that hilariously stressed out is a great game in my books (see also: Pay Day).
I want in on Matt and Maryanne's game! I love that game, but have yet to win it- I always come in SO close... such a letdown everytime.
