Satellite Pictures of my Childhood Home

Trillwing just posted an Google Earth image of her childhood home, and challenged us bloggers to follow suit. Since I'm apparently a follower type, and because I love me some Google Earth, here it is; a grainy picture of the roof of the house where I lived for twenty-three years:

My house is the one with the silver car parked on the street. Actually, that car is the Rustbucket (RIP), (Follow its story here; I essentially discuss it for half of that entire month) a few months after I started driving it. I'm such a nerd that I spent days analysing the Google Earth images of my hometown, figuring out exactly when the images were taken. July 2001.

Ah, fun memories in the Cotcher house! Remember that Anne of Green Gables marathon we had, and how much the boys hated it? And when we played piano and had a hymn sing? And getting ready for your wedding? Those were good times.

Wait a minute, Ari: you weren't there when we were getting ready for my wedding. You were at the church, playing the piano. That was Terra's wedding, where we got ready at my parents' house, because it was near the church.
