- Before lunchtime, I made corn muffins and got some Italian herb bread started in the breadmaker. I used the corn muffin recipe given on the cornmeal package, where you soak the cornmeal in milk for a while, and wow! I'd never made it like that before, and the batter was foamy! And they taste like actual cornbread! I'm so proud of myself. (I know, you probably already know how to do that, and it's not that big a deal, but I'm thrilled.)
- I caught up with two different friends, on the phone. At the same time, I cleaned my house.
- I tracked down a notary public who will make notarized copies of Chris's birth certificate and Sask. Teacher's Certificate, and who won't charge us a lot. The first place I looked up said that they charge $59 for the first document! I looked in the phone book and called the ad that was both near my house and had a picture of a friendly-looking lady. She charges $15, and can do it this afternoon after Chris gets home from work.
- I stopped and chatted with my landlady, while I was taking out the garbage. She's trying to make sure I get out the house more often.
And so now I'm going to start cleaning my bathroom, and work my way through one of my books. I'm a pro star today.

Pro Star? You are neither Wayne Gretzky, Bo Jackson nor Michael Jordan.
I knew that one was coming.
Boo! I wanted to be the first one with the cereal joke!
Sounds like a productive day.
