After I made all my plans for today, I checked the weather. That's when I saw that it was 20 degrees Celsius outside and perfectly clear. Who can sew with weather like that going on outside?

The mountains were out in full force, at the beach. I didn't mind that one bit. (Ocean and mountains are still a novelty for this prairie girl.)

I made myself sit and watch the waves for a really long time. It was good for me. But I wasn't entirely dressed for the beach, as you might notice.

After a while, I wandered over to Cattle Point and visited Mt. Baker.

It was a lovely day, although now I feel rather nappish. Too bad I can't nap now, because I have to go to prayer meeting. Remind me to go out to the beach more often. For you, gentle readers, I send some sand and wishes for a lovely day of your own:

I read this post first thing this morning and you inspired me to go to the beach! It's such a beautiful sunny day here, and it was wonderful to just stare at the sea. Of course, I forgot to take my camera so I can't photoblog it...next time! :)
cool pics.
These photos make me want to go to the beach.
We're both in exile in each other's homes, aren't we? We even traded places within weeks of each other.
