Compulsive Hair-blogging

So? What do you think? Chris had a really good time with the dyeing. I also had another webcam conversation with Brandy and the kids, and this time around WG called my hair "red." (As opposed to last year, when she called it "pink." Way to give your auntie a complex, kid.) And here it is with dark background, and a wonky look on my face.

And now Chris and I are going to attempt to watch three movies: Shopgirl, Proof, and Downfall. (Can you imagine how pretentious we looked at Blockbuster?) We're also having frozen pizza, Dr. Pepper, and lots of candy. In Chris's words, on the way to Blockbuster, "Janice's birthday is really fun."*

* For those of you who don't know me personally, I live really far away from my sister. And so I'm not actually spending her birthday with her.

You are so pretty! I love the red, shiny hair. I have the exact same glasses, by the way. They make us look very scholarly.

Downfall was amazing - but the kind of amazing that one only has to see once in their lives.

I've been wanting to see Shopgirl and Proof - if they're terrible, please do report!

It looks so cute! I love you as a red head. Well, I love you anyways, really.

Brah!! I'm so jealous!!!! I've been dying to see shopgirl and proof. There's no one here who'd watch shopgirl with me, now that Janice is moved. I weep.

Chris's response to Ky's comment: "She's been dying to see BOTH of them? So we're Ky? I call the good taste in shoes."

Ky: you are reputed for having good taste in shoes.

My first visit to your blog - what a fun read! And to know another Dr. Pepper fan is heartening. :)

Ohh, I love the hair. You so look like a very academic Ph.D. student yet hip person with it.

I love your hair!!! I used to be a redhead of varying shades for years; and lately I've really felt the urge to go back! But not until after the wedding... when I can finally cut my hair again too.

Wait a minute-- you dye your hair red, study history AND you play the flute? You're like a Canadian me!!! LoL.

Be bold, Kristiface! I dyed my hair that shade of red THE DAY BEFORE my wedding! Okay, you don't really have to. But it was really fun.

I enjoy being a Canadian you. And you did your comps the year before I did, but I got married a year before you will.

You're a hot blonde, but I'll take you as a redhead too. I'll be your Peter Parker anyday, MJ!*

Derek out.

*a purely platonic Peter Parker

I was waiting for that comment. Actually, I harassed him that I hadn't heard that comment yet, and I told him he was slacking.
