Buried

In ways, I guess I'm handling the semester better than before, and in ways I can't fathom how much work is going to have to be done in the next month and a half. I no longer have heart palpitations in class, and I'm starting to speak up, but I'm so done with class readings. Shouldn't I be working more on my essays? How can I make myself more time, so that I can work on my essays?

I've been working really hard to maintain balance in my life: making time for church, for sleep, for housework and meals, but it feels like it's been at the expense of contact with people outside of my immediate surroundings. I spend lots of time with Christopher, I'm constantly see everyone in my program, and Chris and I've made some time for getting together with church people, but there's a whole list of people that I've been meaning to call, for the past few weeks. My poor parents haven't even heard my voice for a while. Brandy and I've been working for weeks to arrange a time when we can talk via webcam.

How many more weeks until this semester is over? No wait. I don't like that thought (too many essays before then).

In other news, it just started snowing outside! That's very hilarious to me, because this is about the time of year when Islanders are all, "What? Other places in Canada still have snow? But it's spring!" Take that, Island. We have snow, just like all the other chumps. (At which point I remember that I have to walk to a coffee shop this afternoon. Okay, now I'm willing it to go away.)

Yes, this has been rambly. But at least you're hearing from me. Now I have a whole stack of articles to read before 3:00 this afternoon, so I'd better start on that.

I bet you are getting that pretty kind of snow that melts within the day and doesn't leave loads of brown slush mush all over. I'm glad you live in a pretty place.

Yeah, it's totally doing Stars Hollow snow right now: it falls big and fluffy, and then disappears. I'd better do my hair in some fantastic way, and wear a pretty scarf, if I'm going to be out walking in it.

You also have to wear really cool boots and not stop talking long enough to get a breath for it to be truly Stars Hollow-esque.
Or, go on an entirely juice diet and then you can be Keith. But don't worry, toast counts as juice.

You know, I still have that recipe for toast water...

I think I can handle wearing cool boots and talking non-stop. And I will be walking to a coffee shop...

Gotta love Stars Hollow.

But can a place be truly Stars Hollowique without a Kurt?

Does Victoria have a Kurt?

Do you mean Kirk?

I think we all know that it's Christopher. Or possibly Tim.

Kirk!!! That's his name!! I knew it was a K, but I was too lazy to look it up. I knew Keith wasn't right. Guess who just started watching Gilmore Girls this season?
Sigh.
I suck.

Now this conversation is making a lot more sense. Some how I was imagining Keith from _The Office) living in Stars Hollow and drinking juice. Both very un-Keith-like

P.S. What am I, chopped liver? Unless you like chopped liver then I would be something you didn't like and didn't want to eat.

We have no spoke since Ky was at your house and we only spoke briefly.

I gave two examples.
