I think you're the first person I've ever know who has been a Graduation Gown Steamer. Sounds like a warm job?
I love You've Got Mail - such a fun film. And The Shawshank Redemption was in my list of four for a while, before I replaced it with Legally Blonde, as I needed something a little lighter. I adore The Shawshank Redemption though - it took my breath away the first time I watched it.
But I blame you for the fact that I now want to watch a Gilmore Girls DVD whilst eating cool ranch chips...Mmmm. :)
Wow. This is so strange. Last night, both Lagally Blonde and The Shawshank Redemption were on tv, and I flipped back and forth between them because I couldn't decide between them. I ended up feeling guilty about Legally Blonde, and depressed by Shawshank, so I put in Mansfield Park and sighed myself silly at Jonny Lee Miller and Alessandro Nivola.
Maryanne, I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I think we have to watch some Battlestar Galactica when I go visit you next month.
We did all the steaming during the summer time, and so it was warm anyway. But it took place in an open garage, and so the steamers weren't so bad. It was a decent job, because it paid really well, for how little we did.
And man, do I ever love Legally Blonde. I'm not really surprised that both those movies were on TV. I'm amazed that they weren't both on TBS: I'm pretty sure that channel is legally obligated to show those movies once a week.
And Ky, I'm so tempted.
I watch very little television but I really loved the show Northern Exposure.
Northern Exposure was different from most TV shows I know. It was such a fantastic show (we own the first three seasons of it on DVD now).
