Chris: "So, since we're going grocery shopping, do you want to pick up any kind of food that's special, that we don't usually get?"
I gasp, as I think about it. I begin tentatively: "Could we...I don't know...[quickly] can we go to the Safeway bakery and get one of those pretty cakes that I've always looked at and never feel justified to buy?"
Chris: "You can get whatever cake you want."
