I just sent in my conference proposal. Unlike what I claimed in my SSHRC application (I had to include a part about places where I intended to disseminate my research), I ended up deciding to talk about the portrayals of Nazis in the three novels. That should be fun.
In other news: the little boy upstairs is learning how to play the trumpet. It makes me feel all nostalgic about back when Sissy Janny played trumpet.

Woah - I don't think I'd have the guts to call Janny a sissy. She'd take me down for sure!
