With the sound of trumpets and much huzzahs:
I have a thesis defense booked!!! (Yes, that needed three exclamation points.) I'll be defending on Monday, September 19 at 3:00pm.
I am now very tempted to fly in to Regina on the Friday afternoon before that; then I could have a good long weekend in Regina.
In other news: as a result of the insane jump in gas prices, Chris and I are now going to drive with all our might to a gas station that's still "cheaper," and see if we can ride this out, with our gas tank that lasts forever. (We're at a quarter tank now.)
