Farewell, Manolo

In the past week, every time I attempt to visit The Manolo's Shoe Blog, my virus scanner intercepts a "Potentially Unwanted Program" (some sort of spyware or adware). At first I thought it was a coincidence, but this has happened too many times. I love you, Manolo, but until I can be convinced that your website isn't trying to mess over my computer, I can't visit you.

It's been the super-fantastic, while it lasted. Maybe I'll get some more work done, in my absence.

In other news, Chris and I are working like crazy, trying to find him a job. So far all of this searching has come to nothing, which is frustrating. He went to an employment centre yesterday and they told him that 80% of businesses in Victoria don't advertise when they're looking for an employee. He's tweaking his resume and researching potential employees, while I'm searching job banks and and advertisments. We're going very strongly on the offensive now, and he'll take anything for now, while we wait for something more suitable. Anyone in the Victoria area want to hire a science teacher with camp-related management experience, not to mention plenty of experience/ability doing pretty much anything hands-on? Anyone?

I'd hire Chis to fix my chair.

I was just sitting there, and suddenly I was on the floor! I broke a chair!

It was the surprise of my life.

P.S.- to those who don't know me, there is NO WAY a chair should break when I am sitting on it.

Yeah right Jen, denial is not a river in Egypt.

I think it is a coincidence about the Manolo blog. I have my computer super locked down and there is nothing nefarious about that site.

Ok, who is Jen? Have I met you? I'm so confused! But I'm glad you like bunnyhugs. :)
