What's In A Name?

My sister did a Google Images search with her name, Janice. She found, among others, a high heeled strappy shoe, a child's drawing of a professor, and a girl in a jellyfish costume. And a singer from the 1980s. Classic.

So, I decided to do an images search for things and people named Maryanne. Here is what I found:

Instead of a high-heeled shoe, a flip-flop.

A deputy mayoral candidate from 2003.

A Justina McCaffrey dress!

And...a fictional coffee critic, who is allegedly the third cousin of Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island.

I find this all (well, except for the deputy mayor) to be surprisingly appropriate.

Maryanne, I want to call you but I can't find your phone number! Please send it to me. I miss you! By the way, this post is rather amusing.

It hasn't arrived yet, but when it does, I'll be sure to use it. Thanks, Mary.

If you want to see the funniest thing ever, either google image search my name (Lynmara) or go to my blog www.amandolynandky.blogspot.com in 10 minutes time.

Maryanne, I'm afraid to say it: the deputy mayor thing was pretty dead-on you too.

Yeah. So thanks for like making the last five minutes of my life the most traumatic ones ever. If you Google Image search Jacqueline, you come up with a bunch of porn stars and playboys posing. Now I just feel like trash. Why can't I just have a flip-flop named after me too? Why?!?!

Apparently JCQ didn't use the SafeSearch option. Poor poor JCQ. Sometimes, you also have to put SafeSearch to maximum for this exercise (where it blocks sites with explicit text as well). That's how we found funny and cute things about Angela.
