Escapist Mode

Do Not Disturb: the Queen of West Procrastination is in full escapist mode right now.

She recently experienced the unfortunate collision of a-month-to-wedding-and-moving-across-the-country emotions with the revelation that Chris didn't get The Job, fantastic interview notwithstanding. (And subbing might not be a possibility.) Earlier today, she went through Trying To Keep It All Together For Christopher, followed by Failing To Keep It Together With Roommate and Karl, followed by Philosophical Acceptance and Online Job Hunting While Watching a Movie With the Aforementioned Roommate and Karl, followed by Evening of Escapism.

Expect the evening's Obsessive Blogreading to be followed by an hour of The Blue Castle. Reality, and real discussion of the situation, is not an option right now.

She will hopefully resume regular functioning after a good night's sleep.
